What is TCM,
Traditional Chinese Medicine?

Chinese Medicine dates back more than 3000 years ago. It is still being practiced today.
Early record-keeping shows systematic treatment principles. This is because, behind every disease and illness, symptomatic changes will occur in the body. The strength in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM also known as "Oriental Medicine") is behind its age, utility of the largest herbal archive, and proven concepts of healing the body.
One of the earliest known written collections of Traditional Chinese Medicine is the "Huang Di Nei Jing" (Yellow Emperor's Inner Classic) from the 3rd c
entury BC, where principles for healing diseases are discussed. Modern studies and regulation of Chinese Medicine have proven that the TCM practice is a scientifically reliable and a recognized form of treatment for disease. Laboratory research and pharmacological studies in natural herbal products can include botanicals, minerals, vertebrate, invertebrates, as well as forms of nutraceuticals. It is not only progressing in Asia, but also in the Western World including in the United States and in Canada.

Within the many modalities of healing, Herbal Medicine in TCM is a regulated health practice in Canada; Ontario, Alberta, British Columbia, Quebec, Newfoundland and Labrador. Although the Eastern Hemisphere has a much broader practice and regulation of TCM, its legacy of medical effectiveness is starting to pave way into the Western world.

Here at Kingdom TCM Inc., our clinic utilizes and introduces TCM concepts of healing, starting from the basics of food,  lifestyle, and the environment.
Com
mon modalities include Herbal Teas, Herbal Prescriptions, Acupuncture and Cosmetic Treatments, Topical Applications, and Tuina Massage Therapy to prevent and also to cure sickness.
